The book release party on April 2nd hosted by Marc Ribler and Friends was a resounding success!

I recently donated books to the twilight concert at St George’s Church in Rumsen for the  AIDS Resource Foundation for Children.  The books were auctioned and we raised an additional $1000 for the cause.

In April, we are donating some books to a fundraiser for Community Affairs and Resource Center of Monmouth County (CARC), based in Asbury Park.  CARC provides many social services to Monmouth County Residents: Job Readiness and Job Search Assistance, Computer Literacy Classes, English Classes, Clothing & Transportation to get people to interviews and new jobs, Domestic Violence Services, Interpretation, Health Insurance Application assistance, Parenting Classes, Health Fairs, etc. They work with other agencies like the Food Bank, DYFS, Family and Children’s Services, etc.... and did LOTS of Sandy Relief as well.

On June 2nd, we are donating some books to a fundraiser at the Stone Pony

for the International Myeloma Foundation and Mary’s Place by the Sea. 

A number of bands are already signed up for the event including Quincy Mumford,

Sonny Kenn Band, Blackberry Blues Band, and Offshore and The Middlemen.
